The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) is a federal law requiring colleges and universities participating in federal financial aid programs to maintain and disclose campus crime statistics and 安全信息在大学的克莱里报告地理.

The Office of Campus Safety and Security prepares an annual Security and Fire Safety Report to comply with the Clery Act, which is published every year by Oct. 1，包含三年可报告的犯罪统计数据.

St. Bonaventure University personnel who are administratively responsible for domestic and international student trips are expected to report student trip information for compliance regardless if any Clery Act reportable crimes occurred.

All Campus Buildings are equipped with portable fire extinguishers and with fire alarm/detection systems that alert the Office of Safety and Security. The average response time to an alarm by Safety and Security personnel is approximately 2 minutes.

On-campus mobility transports for people with temporary or permanent chronic medical conditions and disabilities are provided as a courtesy, when possible.

Walking safety escorts are available 24/7 to all community members within campus boundaries.

We encourage bicycling as a safe, fun, economical, efficient, environmentally friendly and healthy transportation alternative for the SBU campus community.
